Doug Ford is just rebranding as the throwback “progressive” conservative. I believe he has his eye on the prize...federal leader of the conservative party. Doug Ford is only interested in enriching Doug Ford. He’ll cosplay “good politician, Canadian, Ontarian” to get it.

I’m not in anyway a fan of Ford. But just because you’re in the same party does NOT mean you should have blind loyalty to everyone else in that party…especially with views you don’t agree with. And bipartisanship should be encouraged.

I don’t think anyone could self deport. Just heard from a US friend that when they visited Montreal recently there was a HEAVILY ARMED pre-boarder US check stop…BEFORE getting to the Canadian boarder guards.

And separating immigrant children from their parents, and I’m sure many deaths that will come from his cuts and trampling of US civil liberties.
