About 1/10 emails I get for my work email is high value and worth reading. About 1/100 for personal email. But I still don't trust an LLM to properly identify them. Someone needs to fix this.

* good at local learning
* good at requesting help

LLMs:

* good at global learning
* good at working tirelessly for low costs

Trump again endorses sending US citizens to El Salvador's prisons. Needless to say, this is very illegal, and he knows it.

We've implemented a simple toolkit for fine-tuning powerful coding models using only RL with an entirely local, zero-setup sandboxed code interpreter. We found very promising results using a tiny fraction of data & training time vs SFT. Check out our blogpost for more details! 👇

I’ve taken the Senate floor and will speak for as long as I’m physically able to lift the voices of Americans who are being harmed and not being heard in this moment of crisis. Watch here:

Can an 8B LLM learn tic tac toe through reinforcement learning? Reward graph at 10/50 iterations shown below.

Base model: NousResearch/Hermes-2-Theta-Llama-3-8B

Trajectories per iteration: 512

Reward function:
* victory against opponent - 1

10 years ago, if group of miscellaneous people were hauled out of bedrooms, work & off the street & flown without hearing to brutal prison in El Salvador, you would have said must be in Chile or Russia or China, not US. "Can't happen here." It is happening here . Why are you now allowing it?

For developers handling sensitive data, OpenPipe just released `pii-redact`, a library for detecting and handling PII from any dataset. You can configure the types of PII to detect, and whether to remove, replace, or just mark it. Pretty cool, and it runs on your laptop!
