Trey Benson, James Conner, Bijan Robinson, Jonathan Taylor, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jaylen Warren, and James Cook. Since Spears returned in Week 5, the usage for him and Tony Pollard has been relatively similar, with Pollard having an edge in rush rate.

Early run through of the WR data updates through 10 weeks. Here’s the players with a target per route run rate at 20% and 2.20 yards per route run.

Nearly all high-end to near-elite options besides the outliers:
-Adonai Mitchell
-Devontez Walker

Per Fantasy Points Data, here are the pass catchers with a five-percentage point increase in their first-read target share in Weeks 5-9, compared to Weeks 1-4 (min. 10% first-read% in either set).

I wrote about this in my Sunday Night Matchup piece that the Commanders’ pass defense had been allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per dropback on deep passes versus zone coverage.

We’ve already seen it happen a few times for a touchdown.

I have issues, and I continue to double and triple-check the formulas and recent usage. I noticed some minor errors this evening, which have been adjusted. We added team-level data to hopefully account for the team context.

Among the running backs that faced stacked boxes (8+ defenders) 25% of the time or more in 2025, only 10 running backs averaged a positive rush yards over expected per attempt (RYOE/Att).

Like Julia Michaels' song 'I've Got Issues,' here's a look at the way-too-early WR/CB Matchups for Week 5 @rotoballer.com. Will update tomorrow when we get the MNF data.

"Best" projected matchups below. Losing Tyreek Hill is big. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine ran a decent chunk of routes in Week 4.

Here's a scatter plot looking at the running backs in expected fantasy points as rushers and receivers in Weeks 1-2.

Javonte Williams might be the most surprising on this chart.

10 wide receivers garnered a 25% target per route rate and produced 2.50 yards per route through two weeks, before the Monday Night Football game.

👀Two teams with two receivers on this list.

📈Zay Flowers
🥇Ja'Marr Chase
🥇CeeDee Lamb
🥇Puka Nacua
👀Davante Adams

The Week 2 Sunday Night Football Matchup against the Falcons and the Vikings intrigued me, so I decided to write it up into a Substack article.

It looked like single high coverage on Quentin Johnston’s second touchdown.

Per @fantasypoints.com data, the Chiefs’ pass defense allowed the most fantasy points per dropback in single high looks.

Wrote about this last night.

Assuming no major changes or injuries in the next few days, here's a sneak peek at the best projected Week 1 WR/CB matchups.

Might need to find a way to automate and do this quicker, lol.

12 pass catchers averaged 10 expected fantasy points or below PLUS 2 or more fantasy points over expected per game in 2024. This list provides us with players who might be better for bestball than managed leagues based on limited volume yet high-end efficiency.

For context, Cantillo threw his changeup in the zone 45.3% of the time to right-handed hitters in 2025. The Twins hitters whiffed on the changeup low in the zone and on the outside corner.
August 3, 2025 at 10:16 PM
#GuardsBall  Joey Cantillo’s changeup was deadly, with a 47.8% SwK on Sunday against the Twins. Weirdly, he threw the changeup in the zone 70% of the time.

The Browns' backfield in FFPC ADP has gotten closer and closer. I've been going after Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson in the later rounds.

Philip Rivers had the passing volume, production, and efficiency to achieve 10 seasons with 300 fantasy points.

Since 2000, the only other quarterbacks with 10 or more seasons with 300 fantasy points:
-Tom Brady (14)
-Drew Brees (13)
-Aaron Rodgers (12)
-Peyton Manning (12)
