I’ve often returned to this:

I love lead (sport) climbing.
AND, as soon as I start even thinking about it, my palms start sweating and I have to spend some mental energy to stay in parasympathetic mode.

This certainly says something about me and my taste. But I’m so interested in the addictive quality of conquering fear.

Go jump in the river. Gasp.
Feel the sting, the sweep, the rush of blood to the heart.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in again. Breathe out again.
