Hello All! I've not forgotten you! I've just been very busy. My grandfathers health is not well and I am the primary family member for him. I also am getting ready for my first art table event in a few years with a Holiday Market in a week!

I had a rough April, and in a couple days I will be putting my grandmother to rest.
Thus why it's been quiet.
I've been back to working though and I'll have a mushroom sculpture to share shortly. In the meantime I've the best co-worker..as you can see. #softsculpture #artist #cats #fiberart

Today is LYS (local yarn store) day. My local shop has the cutest DelaQ bag with a madtosh skein. I have no yarn at home... of course I bought it! I also had to get a skein of Bad Sheep yarn to go with it, as one does. #knitter #lysday #yarn

I needed to pause and pile the knitting together I have finished.
The self esteem boost is good from seeing it all. I needed that.

Everything needs a blocking, the blue shawl I recnetly finished needs ends woven in.

A layout of finished hand knitting, 6 stocking hats: 2 are dark blue, 1 dark aqua, 1 liacs, 1 red and white, 1 dark blue with multi coloured flecks, and a purple gradiant cowl, all lay on top of large shawl in light and dark blue. The knit wear takes up most of the photo. A large triangular shawl is spread out on a table. The shawl is to big for the table, the left and right corners of the shawl are folded in. The shawl is not spread out smoothly. It is orientated with the top of the shawl at the bottom of the photo and it's point is at the top. The shawl is mostly a mottled light blue and it has a small dark blue stripe three quarters of the way down and also a dark blue edge at the bottom. There is a texture to shawl in the main body that is stranded loops around sections of knit. The edge is a lace pattern that ends in ruffle looking lace and ribbed edging since the shawl has not been blocked out yet. It still has some yarn strands hanging needing to be woven in. A hand knit purple gradiant cowl lays on top of a chroma key green background. The colour gradient is dark purple, light purple, dark purple, light purple, and dark purple. This causes a high contrast effect. The cowl has an alternating ribbed pattern that has been wrapped to cause cinched effect in the ribbing. This looks like alternating V shipped columns. A transparent plastic tote bin sits on a table. The bin contains hand knits that are waiting to be wet blocked. It contains 6 hats and a cowl.
