Deleted a post about the end of American hegemony being a positive. China, Russia, North Korea and several other bad actors wouldn’t have an effective check. Things like US AID no longer being a thing will hurt many developing nations. I’m still for limiting US influence on every world topic.

Could be wrong, but I don’t think that anything Trump, Hegseth or Duffy did or didn’t do in their first week or so caused the collision. But I’m sure that if this happened a year ago, there would’ve been calls for criminal probes for Biden, Austin and Buttigieg from the congress floor the next day.

Saw “Invasion: Christmas Carol” at Dad’s Garage in Atlanta this afternoon. It’s the standard(ish) version of the Christmas Carol play, the ghosts and Tiny Tim, etc. But they throw an extra character the rest of the cast doesn’t know about in to the mix. Today it was Pinocchio. It was hilarious.

Went to a Thai restaurant where there was a “light” hand and a “heavy” hand in the kitchen. Rolled the dice and asked for medium. My order came sizzling a cast iron plate, fajitas style. As it passed through the dining room, my choice accidentally maced the entire space.
Ordered ‘medium spice’ at the Indian restaurant. Now I’m sweating, crying, and reevaluating the hubris of my ancestors.
