Easier said than done, but try to remember the period of "without work" will feel like a distant memory shortly after landing one. You got this :)

Personal recommendation: I typical wear L shirts and XL-ish pants (38” waist). Any thoughts between L and XL?

IMO the on-rails were amazing and deserve a whole game, while the werehog sections were super tedious, almost like, "we don't know what to fill the rest of the game with." The game has a Metacritic of 60, and the consensus doesn't even like the on-rails stuff 🫠 OST is amazing though I agree.

Sonic Generations and maybe Colors. Most others people just grew up with with rose-colored glasses imo. Which is fine! But even Generations has plenty of jank. None of these games are super well designed 🥲

I know it’s not a common or easy way to work this, but it feels fair to me. You get paid directly for your time, and you know how much time you can commit, so it’s easy to know how much you have to charge to meet your needs. And the client gets work immediately. Tough to do in practice but maybe?

Have you thought of charging for your time directly? Like “I will draw for $X an hour”?
