I think a more common reason is similar but it's more of a FOMO in terms of sales. A lot of people like buying in bulk and I think games are similar when they are very cheap. Which backfires since most people really only end up playing a few games consistently.

I tried to enjoy it, but I think I don't think the gameplay hit the same way it did when I played the OG Paper Mario. The story just isn't as good as Super Paper Mario either to me. So it just felt so weird to me where it just never really clicked with me.

I am just surprised I have that many hours considering how dead I was for like a year.

I think Splatoon 3 just felt so much more fun to play. I basically tripled my play hours from 2 to 3.

I've seen people talk about the super contrary (contrary + simple). That statline alongside the major glazing from the Pokemon company makes me think it's gotta have a crazy ability.

Legit everyone is clowning Malamar but they could legit give it the most broken ability and suddenly change everything. Or it could be like one of my favs Mega Audino and take away one of their best abilities for genuinely 0 reason. The movepool/typing/ability matters so much more.
