Never got to play the Saturn version before which has features not found in any other version of the game. However, I bought this translated copy. SOTN is my favorite game ever, & finally getting to play the Saturn version will be an absolute treat!

9th game finished in 2025. The story deals with some interesting themes but is kind-of all over the place. The platform puzzles could get insane! A very good indie effort!

This was the game that got me into building sims & proved the genre can work on a console (along with SimCity). Games like Aven Colony owe their existence to it.

8th game finished in 2025. This one was fine most of the way but lost steam when I reached Dracula's Castle. The use of familiars and weapon crafting were cool concepts, but the exploration was dull while the fighting was annoying most of the time. Grade: C

7th game finished in 2025. This short narrative game about a struggling indie developer hit pretty close to home. I couldn't help but see myself in the protagonist as I often struggled between doing my projects for myself or for others. I need to get better at that.

Rocky Horror is 50 this year, & I don't have time to go to a midnight screening. Watching it at home has to do.

Started playing Panzer Dragoon Saga. Even though it'd be an easy pick for Treasure Chest, I'm thinking of doing a retrospective of the whole Panzer Dragoon series since I have all 4 games.

The original Sonic the Hedgehog is an all-time classic that had plenty of great ports.
