Again, execution and outcomes matter more in the end than how well a policy polls in isolation. Americans were supportive of a withdrawal from Afghanistan until it actually happened.
Yeah, I agree with this. One of my annoying questions for Dems is: Do you worry that what Trump is having Elon do is actually pretty popular? And they reject the premise or say that in the long run it'll piss people off.
