Tried out a new ragoût of potato recipe because I saw a lovely video of Jacques Pépin making the dish. Had to replace the broccolini with broccoli rabe. Bet it’ll be great.

I was at the school to observe teachers. At one point, a girl burst into a classroom and yelled, “I’m so stressed out about all this meditation stuff.”

Responding to a best tv of the year list, I agree that "Say Nothing" is an important show, but the makeup was the real star of the production. Those beards, mustaches, and wigs were as convincing as the recurring disclaimer that Gerry Adams had nothing to do with the IRA.

As a developmental psychologist, I have some pretty big concerns about this movie, especially the ending, but we bonded watching it together.
