Come to think of it the whole storyline is astonishingly prescient of how news and discourse works in the age of social media.
Thinking a lot about how everyone in media hated The Wire S5's Templeton storyline, which turned out to be one of the most accurate depictions of modern media creatures.

Also why grand conspiracies do not exist. Because if they did there would be an email chain from Jeff in procurement reply alling about how all this demolition stuff is really necessary.
I have this memory during the Jack Abramoff scandal about the incredulity that people felt that the participants would put as baldly as possible in print what they were up to in an email and send it out and over the last twenty years or so since every scandal is like RE:RE:MYILLEGALSEXTAPE.GIF
