Yea. He said the billionaires need incentive, to treat us decently. As if the last 40 years of being allowed to become richer than the pharaohs was insufficient incentive. I appreciate his pharmacy business but he had a lot of really bad takes.

Something like that is what it looks like to me. Also, it looks like Admiral Bradley received a promotion from JSOC to SOCOM the same day that the shipwrecked survivors were killed on September 2nd, as the nomination for his replacement was announced that day.

I think he was forced out for objecting to the boat strikes. He was SOUTHCOM and would normally have been in command of this area. But the command to kill survivors on Sept 2 was given through Special Ops, SOCOM. Makes me wonder who ordered the attack and who ordered the rescue on October 16th.

It is true that Bradley is responsible for carrying out the order. But, directly throwing underlings under the bus, by name, at the first press conference, is a separate offense.

Yes, the boat with the survivors which were killed was attacked on September 2nd. The boat with survivors which were rescued and released was attacked on October 16th.

Yes. Getting thrown under the bus is the least of what Admiral Bradley deserves. He absolutely should have known better. Hopefully the speed with which he has been put under the bus will serve as a warning to the rest of the military leadership.

I don’t think the one that retired is the one that gave that order. Admiral Halsey of SOUTHCOM retired. Admiral Bradley of SOCOM gave the order.
