To keep each draft fresh in Mugen Taikai, we took a lot of inspiration from "Modular Cubes" in #MtG. The ways people had already been balancing synergistic and generic effects saved us a lot of work.

That the control of and decisions about how that character where given to another player meant we got something infinitely more interesting then I could have possibly done myself.

Triangle Agency by @hauntedtable.bsky.social is legitimately my favorite gaming experience of the last few years. It's mechanics perfectly set up for these "Monster of the Week TV Show" ass storylines without railroading you at all.
