Illinois Secretary of State Alex Giannoulis has told rental car companies that they are liable for ice agents switching license plates of rented vehicle vehicles.

This is one of the best ways to push back against Trump and his fascist agenda.

A single three-mile downtown tunnel could directly connect the new Quantum Park to Union Station, Ogilvie, five different CTA ‘L’ lines, and create a fully integrated single-transfer trip to both airports in under an hour.

That’s the power of regional rail.

That’s why we need to #BuildTheTunnel.

Delta pollutes our skies, lobbies against customer protections & high-speed rail, and lobbies for lower tax rates. They are EVERYTHING that we hate.

Here's a list of candidates who received donations from Delta's corporate PAC.

My heart goes out to the two National Guard members who were shot today in D.C. This violence is senseless, and does nothing but make us all less safe.

I am praying for their full & speedy recovery.

"Any association with him was a mistake and we regret it."

That's what JPMC said on June 12, 2023, as they cut a check for $290 million to Epstein's victims.

Two weeks later, my opponent Mike Quigley happily cashed a donation check from them. He did it again in 2024.

What do you think? Should Democrats call for Trump’s impeachment? I think they should, even though it’s unlikely to pass.

My reasoning - get Republicans on record either for or against a president calling for executions of his political opponents, and then use it against them.

What Chuy Garcia did was completely undemocratic - on his way out the door (secretly at the last minute), he gave the voters of his district no choice.

And unsurprisingly, most Democrats refused to grow a spine and call him out for it.

Earlier this morning, 21 Democrats introduced a resolution condemning Israel’s genocide in Gaza. My opponent, Mike Quigley wasn’t one of the 21.

Mike - why do you continue to deny a genocide? Is it because you’re compromised and funded by AIPAC and foreign governments?

This is why we need to re-design our roads, putting cars AFTER all other modes of movement.

Narrowing roads, gentle bends/curves, designated bus lanes, protected bike lanes, adding stop signs, lining the street with trees.

ALL of those things are how you do it, and it will help save lives.
Would you have kids walk across here to get to school?

False flaggers think this is fine, and want to stop an existing plan by CDOT to make it safer.

This could also work on fully protected bike lanes.
This is a small snow plow for sidewalks

If your city plows the roads but leaves sidewalks up to property owners, your city hates pedestrians.

I support speed cameras

I also support converting stroads LIKE THIS ONE into proper streets (having bus lanes, bike lanes, and possibly two-way traffic)

At what point is someone in the Senate going to show ANY leadership and call out publicly that Chuck Schumer is unfit to lead.

We all know he’s unfit. Can someone please put the country ahead of their own political career?!?

Dick Durbin needs to resign. He just sold out the people of Illinois by giving a yes vote that kicks millions off insurance.

But even worse, it gives Trump & ICE a blank check to wreak havoc on our communities.

I hope to be the same kind of representative for the 5th district.

Exciting news. Also, lame to see Fran characterizing transit funding as a “bailout”. You’ll NEVER hear that terminology used for roads and highways.
