Working closely with the Matter Editor in Chief (Steve Cranford), the new Deputy Editor will have the unique opportunity to shape a prominent and vibrant journal, that also fits cohesively into the Matter and Cell Press journal portfolio.

Matter & Light by Cell Press aims to better serve researchers working at the materials/light interface (including photovoltaics, photocatalysis, photonics, luminescent and related materials).

We are seeking a Deputy Editor to help drive the launch of the journal and catalyse its development.

My one major faux pas during this trip was taking my glasses into the sauna… the heat warped the protective coating so now I’m in the fun process of ordering new ones 🙃
