1970-I was hospitalised from birth until I was 7 weeks old with little/no visiting. My parents then got a letter to say ‘your daughter is ready for collection’.
2006-my daughter was placed in SCBU at birth. I was able to be at her side & stay down the corridor until she got home. Such a difference!
