I love watching roots grow. 🌱

Picking up my grandmother’s 4ft tall adenium obesum this weekend because she wanted to get rid of it. She’s had it for over twenty years, but it’s hard to make space for it in her home during the winter.

I’m still in disbelief that this will be my plant. 🥲

Trying to avoid thinking about the dystopian fever dream that is reality right now, so here’s a picture of my newly-rooted veldt grape. Love this weird little guy.

Since I’m here again now, please take a moment to look at my new tiny pitcher plant (was labeled nepenthes miranda but that might be bs, idk).

I guess this is growing up.

And now it’s officially my favorite time of the year, where I pretend that I grow veggies to support the local insect population and for no other reason at all.

Not heat/drought tolerant enough for this south central TX summer, but they’re thriving inside for the moment 🤷‍♀️
