The two Phoenix Police officers who watched this all happen are Daniel Dominguez and Anthony Goldsmith. Not only did the not arrest Recor, but they looked on as Rafael Montoya choked on his own blood and onlookers begged them to help.

Because trans people are also an overwhelmingly working class demographic that often faces oppression on multiple overlapping fronts (generational poverty, racism, xenophobia) this is a particularly horrific threat. Our lives are not easy and we need medical care in general a lot more often
