This 🕷️ tick-borne RNA virus can infect humans, but little is known about transmission and natural hosts. Saskia and team could show that 12/13 serum pools from the three geographical regions and 87.1 % of tested horses in Germany were positive for ALSV antibodies, indicating previous infections!
