i keep this list on backloggd of games that evoke that for me, not that these are all super novel recommendations, or even all "good" per se

also if they make the dpad a little cleaner and clickier than the deck then it might genuinely be the only controller i use on PC

i just wish the capacitive grips could somehow be backported to the steam deck itself haha. gonna be slightly frustrating to not *actually* have full 1:1 parity of inputs. i guess that's what steam deck 2 is for.

imo this is largely because undertale does not *actually* morally condemn you for the no mercy route. it kind of wants you to play it even! but it wants you to engage with the questions that come from pursuing that route in regards to how we engage with fictional worlds.
