Did you know digital hearts are improving our understanding of heart failure? They can be used to examine the safety of receiving a stem cell injection after a heart attack, to inform & advance investigations into potential therapies. This study was led by Research Associate Leto Luana Riebel.

Nistha Kumar, a 4th-year MSc Computer Science student from the University of Birmingham recently took part in our UNIQ+ Research Internship Deep Learning for Statistical Inference. It was lovely to hear how the experience was for her in the department.
