Bonnie ”Prince” Billy’s The Purple Bird. Favorite album this year by a long shot, but honestly I mostly listened to children’s music in the car. I listened to this on the Amtrak between NYC and Philly in May and it was magical

I remember Smart People being optimistic about gamification being used for education and other socially productive uses, but like everything else it ended up just being a tool to discipline underpaid precarious labor

I didn’t read the solicitation for this so I thought it was a new graphic novel where I think Parrish is better suited. It’s a solid collection of shorts though. The advice column comics maybe could have stayed on tumblr
