Being a trans man with a trans woman close friends is great because we have similar experiences and helped each other a lot in early transition. But it's also frustrating because it's like what do you mean you're getting rid of that, give it to me, I want it!

I’m gonna be honest, it bothers me that my fat fat cat who sleeps 18-24 hours a day and isn’t even conceptually aware of the very idea of exercise is still like 100 times more athletic than I am. Like I’m happy for him and everything but also at some level I hope he knows he doesn’t deserve it

I have officially amended my birth certificate. This was the last step in my name/gender change journey, and I'm finally free. I also got the certificate that certifies me to practice medicine in the US. All around very important, very good day 🎉

People often want to make doctors their enemy. Most of the time, it's corporate employers pushing for these codes to be used to maximize profits. Doctors, while well paid employees, are ultimately employees. We're under the same pressure as everyone else under capitalism. CEOs are the enemy here.
