He/Him. Same as at that other place.

trump and his unelected mini me are destroying our country and most of our electeds are too timid to do anything about it.
Hot take: trump didn't write this. Someone else wrote this trying to sound like trump. Even with that effort, there's not enough odd capitalizations and other weird trumpian grammar or unhinged statements for trump to be the actual author. And It doesn't end with "thank you for your attention."
He’s panicking.

So, if he's appeared over 1,000 times in just these emails, imagine how many times and in how many ways he appears in the full file.

So he resigned to give lawless trump one more judicial appointment? 🤦🏻‍♂️
Mark Wolf, a federal judge appointed by Reagan, is resigning after 40 years on the bench.

In an essay published by The Atlantic this week, he wrote, “The White House’s assault on the rule of law is so deeply disturbing to me that I feel compelled to speak out. Silence, for me, is now intolerable.”

The only thing that would make 50 year mortgages better is to accompany them with 12 year auto loans.

What if we doubled ACA subsidies, but called it Trumpcare instead of Obamacare and then described it as the "most beautifully accessible care ever in the history of medical care."

Do you think he'd go for it???

@adelitaforcongress.bsky.social started her term spitting fire. Go get 'em Congresswoman.

@azagmayes.bsky.social we really need you to do something about spam Medicare plan sales calls. I'm receiving 10-12 calls per day trying to get me to enroll in Medicare plans. Your office really needs to do something to shut these calls down.

Makes me wonder if this is why Dems on the oversight committee released a tranche of emails today - to make it more uncomfortable for Reps to pull their support for the discharge petition and harder to explain if they do.
Nancy Mace is expected to pull her support for the petition to release the Epstein Files, the day before Adelita Grijalva is sworn in.

Great job @repyassansari.bsky.social - keep fighting this fight. You're doing great.
Yassamin Ansari is racking up some good fighting points. The table in front of Johnson’s office, and now this. Keep saying it like it is.

I just loaded them on StubHub in case I can't find someone here. They rate them as a "great deal" at $107 per.

I'd call this a "super great deal" for about 20% less!!!
OFF-TOPIC: Have a pair of
@sunsphx.bsky.social/@HoustonRockets tickets on Nov. 24 that we can't use (change in travel plans). KD's 1st game back in Phx, etc.

At cost, $180 for the pair. Sxn 218, Row 1.

Book 'er, Danno!

Every time I cook something my dog looks at me expectantly like he's going to get to try a bit and I have absolutely positively no idea why he'd be under that very accurate impression.

This is fucking gross.

They can't find money for food for our most vulnerable neighbors, but they can find money to pay off senators. This is just outright corruption.
This allows Trump (via DOJ) to use taxpayer money to bribe eight GOP Senators. It's that simple, there's no other way to describe it.

And where's the compensation for people injured by the Trump admin's unlawful conduct through DHS & DOGE?

Take a bow, @schumer.senate.gov, you did this.

This is an interesting video.

Off topic, one of the things that stood out is that the co-founder and the CEO both wore their Costco name tags front and center - just like they expect employees to do. That says as much about the culture that they've worked to foster as anything.

I have a lot of respect for Christine Pelosi running for state Senate and working her way up instead of just expecting to be anointed to the seat her mother is vacating.

Thing about the shut down compromise occurring now that I can't wrap my head around is,

1. Dems had significant electoral success less than a week ago;

2. The massive inconvenience the shut down will cause & resulting anger at GOP will continue to grow in lead up to Thanksgiving in JUST 2 WEEKS.

Apparently health care was, actually, negotiable, wasn't it @shaheen.senate.gov?
Health care isn’t negotiable.

We need to both reopen the government and work together to protect access to affordable health care by extending the ACA enhanced premium tax credits.

Here's a little bit of decent news for today.

It still sucks that a person's right to marry who they love is subject to the whims of 9 people who are insulated from the rest of the world through lifetime job tenure, but at least they got to the right result this time.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court denied an attempt to challenge Obergefell v. Hodges, the case affirming marriage equality nationwide.

Our freedom to marry remains the law of the land.

This ⬇️!!
How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Tuesday's election results in Virginia, Georgia and Mississippi sent a really strong message and it's like Schumer and his merry band of 8 capitulaters have no idea how to read the outcome of that election.
November 10, 2025 at 4:58 AM
@captmarkkelly.bsky.social @gallego.senate.gov it's well past time to replace Schumer as Senate Minority Leader. He's weak, feckless and ineffective and not up to meeting the moment at hand. We need a strong leader and he's proven over and over during the past year that he isn't.

Evergreen post
Schumer is entirely ill-equipped for this moment.
It is time to look to the future.

The challenges that face America are many and great.

The Senate must respond with resolve, bipartisanship, and fidelity to the working and middle class of this country.

You know what would make Johnson's indefensible refusal to swear in Congresswoman elect Grijalva irrelevant? One more GOP rep with decency & morality to sign the Epstein discharge petition. If that happens then refusing to swear in Grijalva becomes pointless.

But it's the GOP so I'm not optimistic.
It’s been 45 days since Adelita Grijalva was elected by the people of Arizona.

Mike Johnson is still refusing to swear her in because she’s the final vote for the discharge petition to release the Epstein files.
