🎂Happy Birthday to the Orange Line corridor in Arlington, VA. Forty five years ago today @wmata.com opened the Clarendon, Court House, Virginia Square, & Ballston Metro stations. This new service kicked off the transformation of the corridor to what we know today as Transit Oriented Development. 1/

It was 18 years ago when the adjoining redevelopment project was put on hold effectively stopping progress on the planned western entrance to the Ballston-MU Metrorail Station. But it now looks as though this new entrance is finally moving toward realization. dcmud.blogspot.com/2006/08/jbg-...

The new on-demand bike lockers at DCA are open. They are located off the MVT inside Garage 2 near the CaBi station and use the Bikeep app for access. Inside each locker, there’s a power outlet with a timer for charging e-bikes.
