There is nothing natural about this society we live in. It runs contrary to our cooperative and social nature as a species. We survived and even thrived because of out collective impulse and the abundance that labor created, yet the world we live in seeks to suppress this aspect of our humanity.

Poverty and scarcity is a political decision, not an unavoidable consequence of human nature. We chose to allow a small group of the capital owning class to siphon away the wealth that the working class creates. We could feed the hungry, house the homeless, provide care to the sick.

It's easy to understand how miserable people are. Folks struggle to afford basics for themselves and their families despite countless hours spent laboring in difficult and thankless roles. We could pay people what they deserve and ensure everyone has what they need. Instead, we enrich the wealthy.

Since being hired, I have already generated profits amounting to my entire annual salary. It's disgusting to know how little I am paid compared to how much I have generated in the few months I've been on the desk.

Take this example and apply it across every industry with tens of millions of jobs.

I love waking up bright and early each day, sacrificing 40 hours of my life each week, to create value for the shareholders.

The real gut punch comes from being in a role with transparent financial data of the value that my labor creates.
