A year ago the UK's largest trade union, public sector union UNISON, affiliated to USC.

UNISON branches and activists in Scotland have been building links with unions in Kharkiv. In September they'll be visiting there, taking aid and funds. Please help!

It was predictably appalling that Trump would throw Ukraine under the Russian bus in the same way he did with the people of Gaza. Ukraine too big to turn into a seaside resort (Putin already has Crimea) but will stay vulnerable. No wonder Putin has that smug grin. Solidarity! Слава Україні! 🇺🇦🇵🇸

Last night friends in Kharkiv went to the underground theatre. The Timur group play was a fantasy romance about a fallen soldier from a volunteer unit from the city - & dedicated to them - showing images of all those KIA at the end. A comic scene set in London had a Scotsman! Life goes on...
