A dozen of the Zombie Horde considering the offerings of the lawns of the law school. Not bad after a little rain.

I caught up with a dozen of the Zombie Horde by the law school. I don't think the drought has been good for these fellows. And these two weeks the wild turkeys are pretty scarce, so it was nice to bump into this rafter.

(The lead probably recognized me. I had maybe six cashews with me.)

The only building by Le Corbusier in North America. Seeing it in isolation is robbing it of some of its power because it is set on a block of university buildings, rectangular salt boxes sitting on lawns. Corb's building allows the site to slip beneath it.

This is what happens, just on a little side street. The turkeys are not smart and the bright lights intrigue them, so they stop. The car honks. They gobble back. It's hysterical to watch. This driver rolled down their window and tried to talk to the turkeys. They *never* negotiate.

Last night's parade to the roosting trees around the corner from our apartment. I lured a couple off of Mass Ave, which is a busy street. They were not interested in the cashews this evening, so it was mostly encouraging them along their usual path.

This is the sort of content you can expect from me. In Cambridge there are wild turkeys. A lot of them. They have fascinated me since 2017. Sometimes I lure them out of traffic with cashews, but they are not bad at sticking to the sidewalks. #wildturkeys
