I have been tempted st times to write articles talking about my thoughts on different TTRPGs I have ran and played, but I am hesitant to do so mainly because the two ideas I am most passionate about would both be fairly scathing, and I am not sure I want to put that into a d&d monopoly ecosystem

RIP to anime director Tatsuya Nagamine. One of the finest adventure anime directors of the modern era. He helped breath new life into long-running series and made them feel altogether vital again. The current One Piece boom wouldn't have been possible in the same way without him.

I see people keep up bringing up it's because being the avatar would be too unbalanced power wise, when I feel like, considering the game is more narrative focused, it's because the belief is if someone is The Avatar, they are now the protagonist of the campaign.

You need to understand that there is both an officially licensed "Avatar: The Last Airbender" RPG where nobody is allowed to be the Avatar AND an officially licensed "Doctor Who" RPG where nobody is allowed to be the Doctor. The situation is dire.

Game mechanics aren't that special.
There is nothing inherently better about rolling 2d6 vs a d12, rolling over or under a stat for a skill check, or using tokens.
The special part is when you, the designer, noticing how a particular mechanic lets you share a part of the human experience

The thought has entered my mind, and I can't get rid of it. Namely, writing a Romantasy Novel, and seeing how long it takes for readers to realize that the male romantic lead is just Lord Zedd from Power Rangers.

Because of Vagabond’s success, I was able to get Apollo a seriously life changing surgery to remove a lipoma from his paw. My 11 year old best friend is happier and healthier because of you all’s support. I can’t even begin to tell you how much this means to me.

It's not reasonable to expect any system to be 100% perfect. I mean, it's a solid goal that good designers strive for, but it's not a fatal flaw in a game if you find the odd situation not covered to your satisfaction in the rules as written.

Good golly, I missed some odd TTRPG discussions this week.
Like, "rule of cool" being misunderstood is all well and good, but fundamentally if you want a specific play experience and the game/system you're running your game with doesn't do that, then that's a shortcoming or mismatch.

When it comes to "Bodegas are not convience stores" I just saw someone try to give a specific description of a Bodega, and litterally like 80% of it applied to the convience store down the street in my neighborhood. I live in the coastal empire part of Georgia.
