Too much red. Should be three white stripes and two red. White stripes at the edges. Red lettering on a white backdrop. Dominance of red evokes Sheffield Utd, , Sunderland, Southampton.

Sol Sidibe and his management are also a consideration. Even if we play him regularly in the Championship for a year, Stoke to a Champions League club is a stretch. It may be that Villa with development plan is seen as a great next step for him.

I'm pleased this design is now likely - I bought three online in February while I was a bit pissed (was under £50 in total). I'll almost certainly never wear mine, but at least it's the right design.

J C will want to leave a legacy (premier league status) and will want a few more attempts at achieving this. That said, relegation this season pushes the prospect back by at least two years (and additional complexity / difficulty) so a decision to sell would be more likely as a L1 side in my view.

I felt we deserved something out of the game, though we don't respect possession sufficiently , and our decision making in the final third was abject. It was classless ( and unwarranted) to chant about Tyrese and the game became more confrontational afterwards ~ we were making headway beforehand.

He was my choice to be the Stoke manager the last three times. An original thinker, unencumbered by adhering to expected behaviours. Or possibly just a little unhinged.

Last season it was the wide players (Junho , Manhoef , Campbell) who was us over the line at the end of the season. This year, it's the (reintroduced) full backs who have made a difference, along with the return of Pearson. Junior and Bocat have been great in Feb and March.

We clearly thought this was a better (or more dependable) option than signing a player for £1m , who would be our asset, and likely earning less wages, albeit tied to the club on a contract should things not work out .

I think it's more to do with players of recognisable quality being tied up in the prem , and the risk equation. Al Hamadi cost £1m (?) loan fee plus wages , is cup tied and wasn't match fit when signed.

I really dislike being beholden to Prem teams for loans, having to compete for the chance to develop their players for them. As a Premier team, we seldom succeeded in loaning players out, at least not on any scale, or for fees that constituted a significant income stream.

Hopefully, this likely new Head of Recruitment (Newman) goes a bit deeper than data alone, and identifies targets who want to improve both themselves and the team.
