100% ... was thinking about the industry I'm in (education), where things are definitely different!

Well-meaning people often say that bureaucrats could make a more money in the private sector but they do government service out of love for the work. That's only sort of true. Many could get a higher salary. But they would have a hard time matching the benefits, especially the pension.

Oh 100% she’s more dominant. The thing that fascinates me about Jakob was he showed up and everyone else also leveled up. But definitely not straight up dominant.

I think the difference between Biles and him is that she was so much better than everyone else, just in another league, where Jakob's competitors keep upping their games to meet his level, at least in the 1500.

I don't really root for him, but Jakob has taken the sport to another level in a way I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone else, in any sport, achieve.
