No one’s even pontificating on his party’s selection processes.

Still, no doubt there’ll be as many articles in the Herald on this as there were on a Green MP not shoplifting.

A reminder that the chef thinks its ok to rate his staff on their fuckability, and do lines while other people prep the food. But ya know. He's a good cook. So what's a bit of sexual harrassment between friends? Do better New Zealand.

The good news is that this smouldering trash heap of a human meat sack will be in jail in a decade

The bad news is that she'll do enormous damage on the way

I know a lot of people don't want to hear this, but if 👇isn't a war crime what the flaming hell farts is now or ever will be?
Israel guided 1.5 million Palestinians into Rafah. They moved the "safe zone" further and further south, until Rafah was all that was left. Now they're bombing Rafah, and people have nowhere to go, nowhere to flee. It's genocide.

The granting of secret parliamentary passes to lobbyists is a canary in the coal mine in terms of corruption.

Any journalist who wrote about the decline in NZ’s Corruption Perceptions Index rank 2 weeks ago should ask all those who said we shouldn’t be ‘complacent’ what they’re doing about this.

I have never bought from either of these websites and never will because 'made by slave labour to add to landfill' just isn't my bag.

I also get that some people have no money and need to, but there is also a lot of not needed shit on these sites.
Just so folks know (or to remind those who already did): Temu and Shein both have been credibly accused of selling products made with Uyghur forced labor. www.bbc.com/news/busines...
Risk popular website sells forced labour goods - BBC News
The claims arise from an investigation into a US law barring imports made with Uyghur labour.

I had a short story accepted for broadcast on RNZ and they told me in a very sensible, professional typed form letter from Eva Radich, in the margin of which she'd handwritten 'We can't say cunt on National Radio'.

Slavery was Legal.

Colonialism was Legal.

Jim Crow was Legal.

Apartheid was Legal.

Legality depends on who has power and the kinds of laws they pass to preserve their own privileges and bigoted views. Legality often has nothing to do with justice.
