Seems to me the US has an outsized share of companies (by market cap) compared to their GDP share.
I could be using terrible examples and bad comparisons, but nothing Trump is doing is about ‘levelling the playing field’. He’s trying to build a new field entirely on US soil.

It’s a shame that a community note with such an obvious mistake is still making the rounds. It’s wasn’t 946 lbs, it was 946 grams.
