Reports of FBI arresting a judge. Details are up in the air, but this is the next stage I’ve been worried about. Could be justified, could be ridiculous charges, but judges, legislators and state officials (governors) are the next stage.

Brief thread on how we got here: Since the GOP won control of the House 2 years ago they have not passed a single appropriations package into law. Government has operated at funding levels set by Dems 2 years ago via continuing resolutions every few months. This is not normal.

I updated this due to an astute follower pointing out that Alabama changed their laws to have off year local elections as well. That's a lot of races in 2025 in some 31 states! This is an excellent example of why no one should start obeying in advance. Capitulation before legislation and adjudication means he gets what he wants by fiat. Force him to bend the system to his rules the way everyone else has to and we force him and cronies to demonstrate unlikely competence.
a useful thing to ask is how specifically does a rule or regulation or order go from issuance to implementation. for instance, trump has said that he will issue an executive order denying birth certificates and SSNs to the children of undocumented immigrants. okay. what happens next?
