I thought it right from the start. I’ve read enough Trump books to see what he is. His mentor? : Roy Cohn taught Trump to use "attack, insult, manipulate the media, never back down, and never apologize" as core tactics. And Trump learned those tactics well.

What we need to do now is let the R’s drown in their decisions & votes. Blasting the Dems who voted for this agreement only shows how weak we are. R’s have the majority, a healthcare discussion date & the ball in their court. When they deny folks healthcare they will hear about it in 2026. Go Blue 🦋

On the flip side though, republicans have the majority so if R’s renege on healthcare, the onus is on them. Dems were losing the battle the longer they held out. The blame was starting to even out. R’s will own this in the end and will lose their asses in 2026.

Once they gavel in to re-open the government so they can vote on the Chuck Schumer cave-in, she and her family should already be in Washington ready to go. They can’t shut the government down again for that.

They will have to explain their votes when their constituents can’t afford healthcare, because you know d**n well republicans won’t keep their word about anything. But on a high note, they are still the majority and have made their stance clear. They will get the blame & suffer the loss in 2026.
