If Treasure made a Sonic games, this would be it. There’s so much to like from it, from the fun visuals to the outstanding soundtrack and the amazing boss fights. Levels are a bit too long for my taste, though.

32. Shinobi: Art of Vengeance (Switch) A damn good platformer and right now my GOTY. Though I wish the bosses were more challenging overall, everything else about this game is amazing. Don’t sleep on this one!

31. Kero Blaster (Switch)
This is a simple but pretty good platformer. It has a nice difficulty curve that eases the player into the game along with a really good OST. Though compared to Daisuke Amaya's previous work, it doesn't stick to me as much as Cave Story did.

30. Cotton Reboot! (PS4)
Never played a Cotton game before this one, and it was fun. I'm not accustomed to shmups, and at times, the screen was so crowded that I felt my eyes were being overwhelmed, but I still had fun. Super short as well.

After I saw this shit, I called him out and blocked him immediately. It was never about jealousy. It was about the fact that Vic got exposed for being fucking creepy and a bad person. But these idiots simply don't care about facts, or they twist them to fit their ideals.

What’s a game you absolutely love but have little desire to replay?
I love Arkham City, but the move to open world from Asylum’s tight metroidvania-esque level design was a downgrade imo. Also didn’t how that many major story missions had 3-4 prerequisites just to continue the plot.

First time beating Crash 1, and it's pretty good. Despite issues with backtracking and 100% completion, this remains a fun platformer that holds up well even today, albeit with improved graphics and sound.

14. Cave Story+ (Steam)
This is still my favorite indie game. Every time I boot it up for a run I find myself enjoying it more and more. It’s old, a bit dated and has some really frustrating moments, but it just… works. Can’t get enough of it.

I am Setsuna. I think this game isn’t talked about nearly enough. It’s not anything particularly special, in fact it’s really easy to see the Chrono Trigger comparisons (especially with the combat), but it’s just so… comfortable to play, and the OST is amazing, even if it’s almost entirely piano.
