Caoilinn an excellent Bronze in Women’s Team Pursuit at Junior Worlds in a crazy close final with Australia where the timing intially went to Aus before it was adjusted to the third wheel. #32

Year ago today I defended (viva) my phd thesis modelling track cycling performance. Main result was winding up sprint coaches and scientists around the world, but the conclusions are supported by the data. 5 papers published towards this thesis.

New publication to my name. A led by Isaac, who is now well into his PhD. We used Garmin Venu2 S smart watches to measure stress levels.
Isaac is now using the watches and sensors he is developing, comparing them to the machines in the Christchurch Hospital ICU.

Been my best year of coaching, 31 national titles, riders at 4 world champs, 3 uci worlds medals inc 1 gold. But Tim as Belgian Track Coach and Jon (and Wife Angela) as NZ Sprint Coach have taken coaching to next level! RJ has played a major role in educating and supporting us all the way thru!

Whether she could or she couldn’t make it, the pathway to road worlds started last October for Kirsty Watts, success at nats, track nats and oceas road earned her selection for road worlds in Zürich. Lachlan McNabb 1st reserve in U19 Men awaiting quotas to be finalised.
