Doing my best, interested in others
Just finished @nnedi.bsky.social ’s novel, Death of the Author. I really loved existing with the characters in the world she created, and I found so much hope in the journey. Highly recommend!

Saw this tonight at a packed movie house filled with laughter.

Fun fact, according to a random aficionado: film dialogue is on average 90 words per minute but this Howard Hawks directed piece clocks in at 240 wpm. I don’t know if it’s literally true, but it sure seemed possible.

Highly recommend.

These 4” wild daffodils and grape hyacinths remind me that not everything has gone to hell in a hand basket.

I’m reading Selma 1965: The March That Changed the South by contemporaneous journalist Charles Fager. It viscerally lays out what you’re saying. Highly recommend.

I started reading Selma 1965: The March that Changed the South this weekend and it was such an important reminder of all the things you said. It’s a great read, written by a contemporaneous journalist. I highly recommend it!
