As bad as the playoff is I just saw that under 2026 rules you get Duke & Notre Dame over JMU & Miami. That’s absolutely worse. It’s literally getting worse every year.

CFB needs to realign and make 8 power conferences and that's it. Conf champs get in, there's no debate. Win the conference, don't lose to your rival.

The truth is that none of Notre Dame, Miami, nor Alabama actually deserves to be the playoffs. 12 teams is way too many in the current conference structure.
