I am thrilled to announce that my Ordinance for the Codification of @oyea.boston.gov has officially PASSED during today's @bostoncitycouncil.bsky.social meeting.

Next stop: The Mayor's desk!

This victory belongs to the youth at Santana’s Youth Force who worked so hard to draft the Ordinance!

Yesterday, we stood with a coalition of unions & community members to support our App Drivers & send a clear message: we must protect workers over robots.

Boston is a union town, and I am proud to fight with you for a better future for all of us.

Happy Intersex Awareness Day! This day has deep roots in Boston—on this date in 1996, North America's first public intersex demonstration happened right here.

Today, we honor the courage of those advocates.

I've filed a hearing order for today's council meeting to legalize Accessory Dwelling Units across Boston!

To tackle our housing crisis, we need diverse solutions. Despite their clear benefits, our current zoning makes building ADUs incredibly difficult. Legalizing ADUs is a crucial step forward.

On Saturday, September 13, a same-sex couple in Mattapan was violently and brutally attacked in a hate crime targeting their identities and humanity. This heartbreaking and intentional act of violence was fueled by anti-LGBTQIA+ animus.
