I am very excited that you are making progress on your journey to bring this truck to market!

Can you elaborate a bit more on what you mean? It’s been a while since I watched them discuss doing this build and I am not sure which weight saving measures you are referencing.

I’d like to see numbering in hexadecimal for those of us that reject this base 10 garbage.

Oh that does check a lot of boxes, thanks for pointing it out.

Some of these certainly end up with trade offs that detract from the others. For example, I think the decent size blue water cruisers tend not to be ICW friendly. Maybe by the time I can afford my ideal boat, it will exist 😅

Yea, I think I tend to have this mentality of trying to find a boat that can kinda do everything well enough. Like maybe not the best for each thing, but pretty good. My basic list is:
- Blue water cruising
- at least 3 cabin 2 head
- ICW friendly
- Exploration capable

I will definitely look those up. One feature about the Garcia that seems appealing is that centerboard that can allow for a shallow draft when needed.

Anyone else have that problem?

This used to work pretty well for me when restarts would force a purge, but now that macOS just restores the previously opened tabs, I have to make a deliberate choice to close them. I can’t bring myself to do that very often.

X right now-

Elon stans: not exactly a nazi salute. See the small differences. He was throwing his heart out. He’s autistic. 😍

Casual observers: that looks like a nazi salute 👀

Elon haters: that’s def a nazi salute. 😡

Nazi’s: it’s not exactly Nazi salute, but he tried. 😍

Certainly troubling times.

A solar generator or some kind of generator that can power your fridges/freezers. You could also stock dehydrated foods with long shelf life. If water goes out for extended periods, you will want to stock enough water to manual flush toilets.
