I love JRPGs, they're my favorite genre, even. But as a cynical and bitter 22 year-old so many of them frustrate me with how juvenile or tropey they can be sometimes.

Been playing so much Final Fantasy VII over the past few months.
It's amazing how this is a 1997 game but the story, characters, and soundtrack all remain as some of if not the best in the industry. It still blows so many games I've played completely out of the water.
