I felt brave/stupid enough to be photographed with a python just now at the Great Hollands Pavilion sports grounds. It was a fantastic event organised by Bracknell Town Council, as part of its Summer of fun programme. Thanks to all the staff from the Town and Borough Councils.

I was advised to use sapphire seed laced with chilli powder to keep the squirrels off my bird feeder. I poured half a jar onto the seeds and still they come!!!

I had thought my bird feeder was in a squirrel-proof place - but not so!!!

This was a younger version of me when I was a Detective Superintendent. Not a grey hair to be seen - unlike now!!
