CAPS intern Judith Gomez helped plan clean energy lighting upgrades for 21 schools in Porterville Unified School District & supported a $5.8 million federal grant to move that work forward. 🌱 This is what happens when students lead the sustainability work their districts need.

Last weekend, CAPS interns joined the Native STAR Foundation at the Tule River Powwow at the Porterville Fairgrounds. The interns shared information about their recent transportation projects, including the PUSD Microtransit Service and efforts to electrify the school bus fleet. ⚡️
