Today, opponents of #NYHEAT held a press conference with signs that read: "Save our Domestic Natural Gas." It's clear that they stand with the fracking industry. NYS Assembly, we need you to STAND WITH US. Deliver #cleanerheatlowerbills by insisting that NY HEAT be in the budget!

The Trump admin claims clean power drives up utility bills. But energy analysts and industry execs know new solar, wind and batteries are cheaper than fossil fueled powe, and that killing tax credits for clean energy will raise, not lower, energy costs: www.canarymedia.com/articles/cle...

Gutting clean energy incentives would drive up electric bills
Rising energy costs are a problem in the U.S. Ending Inflation Reduction Act tax credits and ramping up fossil fuels would make it even worse.

It’s not going to make up for dismantling Mercury Air Toxics standards, undoing car and truck pollution restrictions, rolling back chemical safety regulations, and otherwise covering the country in fossil fuel pollution
