Letters from @inclusivemass.bsky.social on the K-12 antisemitism recommendations. "With DEI under attack, fight against bigotry should be all-encompassing," writes Nancy Murray. "It is now more important than ever to take a united approach in the fight against bigotry...and hate in schools."
Why not a special state commission to protect all students from hate? - The Boston Globe
"Perhaps what is actually taking place in our schools is a crisis of religious-based violence and harassment — even if that sad fact doesn’t fit the narrative that some prefer," writes one reader.

Jeremy Ben-Ami, president of the liberal Zionist group J Street, defends criticisms of Israel:

"If we want Jews to be safe, and if we truly desire peace in Israel and Palestine, we must defend the distinction between political argument and racial hatred."
No, Antizionism Isn’t Always Antisemitism
When every critique of Israel is branded as antisemitism, the word loses its meaning — and real antisemitism actually grows.

In LA, protesters have come face-to-face in recent days with members of law enforcement wielding “nonlethal” weapons. While these are regularly used in the United States to disperse public demonstrations, they can cause serious injuries.

It's quite possible that Whiskey Pete 1) is too stupid and 2) has no aides to figure out he needs to coordinate with LAPD, in which case this will become a clusterfuck very quickly.

is he going to feed the Marines? Or are they supposed to live off the land?
The LAPD Chief has weighed in on Marines being deployed.

Basically: Why is this necessary?

First they illegally deport citizens. Then they unleash ICE to terrorize communities. Now they’ve got the National Guard in L.A. to silence protestors.

This ain’t about law and order.

This is what authoritarianism looks like.

Mark Green is a combat vet.

Now would be a fantastic time for him to condemn the use of the military against civilians.

I’m sure he’s too much of a coward to call out Trump directly, but give him a call & make his remaining time in Congress fun anyway: (202) 225-2811

LA PROTESTERS: How to annoy ICE, cops, Guardsmen & Marines “patrolling” the streets?

Blast “IN THE NAVY”, follow & dance party around them with BIG Pride flags, glitter bomb them & shout “Happy Pride Month”.

Believe me, the ridicule they’ll get will make them LOATHE being in LA.

Deploying Marines to LA isn’t normal. It’s a gross abuse of power similar to what we see from dictators around the world, setting the stage for martial law or full-on authoritarianism.

RFK Jr.’s plan was always to undermine the vaccine regimen as much as he can. Bill Cassidy and other Republican senators were fools to believe anything else. They have enabled a profound threat to the health and well-being of millions of Americans.

RFK Jr. promised under oath not to take away vaccine access. He broke that promise again today.

ACIP determines which vaccines are covered by major insurers. Replacing career civil servants w/political appointees (or disbanding ACIP altogether) will reduce access for *millions of Americans*
BREAKING: RFK Jr. fires ACIP, the panel responsible for advising on vaccines.

This breaks a promise to Sen. Bill Cassidy, who voted to advance Kennedy as HHS secretary on the condition that he would, among other things, keep ACIP in place.

My friend was going to come over today. She called to tell me she can't in tears.

She said ICE was at the intersections by her house. She can't leave because she's undocumented. Her kids are citizens. She's afraid to let them out of the house because she's afraid they'll be targeted regardless.
