Excellent summer evening: 30 minute bike ride down to Wicker Park Fest with J to catch Liquid Mike and then right back home for his bedtime. Beautiful weather. Liquid Mike delivered the goods (it does help that their only album is 25 minutes long).

We picked up a Venus flytrap a couple weeks ago in hopes it would help with the summer fruit flies. Not sure if this house fly is its first victim, but definitely the biggest one I’ve seen yet!
