My absolute favorite day of the year is when we take the kids to walk around Georgetown to see the Halloween decorations. If you are visiting DC right now and have nothing to do with the shut down, highly reccomend this activity.

My 17 year old cat secretly LOVES one of my new kittens. She was sleeping in this chair and he jumped up and she subtly scooted over to lie next to him. She lived with my (now dead) other cat for 16 years and they never this, lol.

I had a Crafternoon party for my girl friends (woman friends?) yesterday and it was so fun! We painted coasters and candles and made bracelets and ate a ton of snacks (everyone brought a snack and I provided the crafts). So fun to get together without kids, chat and do a craft.

My kids first movie!!! We went to Gabbys Dollhouse with a bunch of their friends. They sat in their own row! They loved it, but my 5yo thought it could have been better if snakes got into the dollhouse.

Nothing has done more for my mental health in the last few months than getting in anxiety meds and also getting two kittens. Highly reccomend both. You literally cannot be sad or anxious when these things are in your house.

I love an orange boy!!!! So seeet. I also have a senior cat, Zora, who is sixteen and does not care that she’s sleeping on the cutting board where we prepare food.
