Not just dangerous, but also sad, in the sense of: I can no longer appreciate without qualification a stunning nature shot. Or a cute baby and pet video. Or a snapshot of someone I'd like to be caught looking bad looking bad.

An underappreciated risk is that these AI-constructs will eventually require an arbiter of truth and reality (AI detection) and the people in the best position to do that are the very tech companies who have already shown themselves to be utterly amoral and driven by profit and power.
